Great performance in a compact package

This portable SSD has turned out better than I expected. It's super light and compact, and the USB-C connector means you'll never have to connect a cable backwards. More importantly, the drive I received is well behaved and works as advertised with no major flaws. According to ATTO and CrystalDiskMark, the SSD achieves read/write speeds of up to 450/250MB/s. I also tried copying large 24GB files to the drive and it maintained a consistent speed of 190MB/s, never getting stuck or unresponsive…

Small and Light - Computer and Accessories

Initial Review April 27, 2021 There are only two things that make one of these SSDs better than others: 1) read/write speeds 2) durability (which we don't know until it fails) So the only thing worth testing is the Speed if it works otherwise. I use CrystalDiskMark to rate the speed of SD cards, HDDs and SSDs. So I ran CrystalDiskMark (CDM) on that drive. It was the very first thing I did. disc works fine. The case is plastic rather than anodized aluminum like the premium brands, but works well. The aluminum helps dissipate heat better, so I'm not sure how hot the drive gets inside.

High speed, excellent thermal performance, plug-n-play support

I chose this to be able to move games between different computers for testing and updating. Many games these days have huge updates that can easily waste my entire internet bandwidth per month updating them on every computer.
