Hopefully it will last over 5 years

Replaced my 10 year old, takes a minute to install, no tools required and hope to last over 5 years. Two tips: 1) Clean the bottom ring with a mop or paper towel; 2) Avoid using toilet cistern tablets, their deposits will cause leaks by staying between the flap and the bottom ring

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Zero

Needed a little tweaking

This is the exact size but the holes the pins on the stem went through were tight. The damper did not lower to quickly shut off the flow of water from the tank. They had to be "expanded" a bit, but it was a minor inconvenience, and now everything works fine. The difficulty really lies with the manufacturer's original part, which was hard plastic.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Upgradable

Good price but not durable

I bought this kit in early 2020 to help clean up slow trickle in two of my toilets. It is now July 2021 and I have to replace them again due to slow dribbling. They probably didn't last 5 years. The warranty requires that badly worn equipment be returned to the company for replacement. The effort is not worth it and the company is counting on it. I'll try Flushmaster next.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons

Nice and soft good for rough plumbing

They don't have foam floats but that seems like the exact weight to work with. I had to play around with the chain clamp to get the perfect length and torque on the washer handle. Once that was done I replaced them on all three toilets as the old ones looked pretty bad. I could just start replacing the shocks every 5-7 years as preventive maintenance instead of waiting for them to leak.

Pros
  • New
Cons
  • Working speed

I would not buy this product. You have quality control issues.

Unfortunately these products are not of good quality. I bought it to fix my toilet and it didn't fix the problem. Thinking it was something else I called the plumber and to my surprise he said the replacement muffler (wrongly shaped) was defective so he just replaced it (for $40) with a better one and nothing more. a leak. I would not buy this product.

I only use these plugs.

I do repairs for tenants in a management company. I've changed hundreds of toilet valves. I've removed all of the default crackers at one point or another. When I started, I just grabbed whatever the hardware store had for the lowest price. It took me several months to realize that some flappers are better than others. The worst are the ones with hard plastic swivel arms. Long story short, I started using red scrubs a few years ago and I really like them.

Pros
  • Very good price
Cons
  • Not bad

The term universal fit is used very loosely here

Not happy with this purchase. Universal fit is not exact. I bought 3 packs as a spare as my flaps on both toilets had become a bit bent over time. probably due to chemical additives and usage etc. After I installed one you could tell that it wasn't seated in the center of the tank drain after flushing and it was still leaking afterwards. I bought another brand that I remember before it was really generic and it fixed the problem. I do not recommend.

I solved my 2 problems with a working toilet by leaving an extra spare.

Easy to install. I don't know why I waited weeks to fix them. If you can replace a lightbulb, you can install it. My old ones have hardened and lost their seal. I keep shaking the handle to stop. Install these guys and "voila", the problem is solved. Simply give the ring a quick rub to remove any mineral deposits. Install a new part and adjust the chain. test flush. Finished. If the chain has too much slack, it can affect throttling. You may need to shorten it.

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Something different
