🚽 Universal Toilet Hardware - Korky 481BP Review

I was remodeling my bathroom this fall and had to disassemble all of the Lowes Aquasource toilets I've installed over the past few years. I bought a set of Fluidmasters for the first toilet, but I managed to order them for the second and third. The gasket seems more durable than on the Fluidmaster and I'm hoping the stainless steel bolts will handle our hard water better than the brass bolts I had previously. I need to check my toilets to see if there is any visible corrosion left.

The first time I encountered a leak from the toilet bowl. This kit worked well. If you have a tank to bowl and floor leak, try this. First turn off the water tap. Then put some towels around the toilet. Then the toilet flush. Then use the sponge to empty the tank. Then we disconnect the hose and unscrew and disconnect the tank. Then remove the existing gasket. Then put on a new gasket. You have to work at it until the end. Then put the tank back in place and insert the screws as indicated…

Amazing design I could not find in any other tank to bowl gasket. It has cutouts that provide a snug fit for the large hexagonal plastic. the nut that attaches the drain valve to the bottom of the tank is above (see the 2-inch purge tube protruding at the same time). The result is a perfect fit with no overstretching or sagging at the seal. It's hard to find stainless steel bolts/washers which also provide a nice corrosion protection bonus compared to brass.
