These gloves could be a good buy. Unfortunately, the FIRST time I put them on, the liner came loose from the case. (see photo) Looks like they pinned the balaclava with a single stitch which ripped the very first time I took this glove off. It's mid-January, the temperature is below 20 degrees and I have a broken glove. I need to realign the lining to the body and sew it on each finger. WHAT!? To my surprise, the warmth of these gloves made a very positive impression on me. My hands are always cold in winter and I usually wear thick woolen mittens because the gloves don't keep my fingers warm. except for these gloves actually. I don't know how they do it without wool, but when I went for an hour's walk on a cold, windy day in early December (Pennsylvania October-April weather is in mittens and gloves), and this time my hands weren't freezing or even freeze. These gloves are warm and comfortable. The lining feels soft and I'm pleasantly surprised at the price as I've sometimes spent three times as much for gloves that were less warm and less comfortable. The fit was perfect for me as I wear XL and have about half an inch of room at the ends. The outer part is also made of a softer and windproof material. I was looking for waterproof gloves at a good price. These gloves fit me, they're warm and they passed the waterproof test. I sprayed them out of the shower and didn't feel the water soak into my hand. I haven't submerged them in water or anything like that, but I don't think that's a realistic test of how I would use them. Just received it and can't comment on the water resistance. The touch screen function does not work. I spent a few minutes warming up the touchscreen (for touchscreens) fingerpads. There were a few times out of about 20 where the screen responded to touch/swipe/tap/tap etc. I played around with it a lot. I bought them in a small size for my boyfriend for the coming winter. Here he models her. We live in Minnesota and he has a lot of snow to clear. He notices that they are very warm and it's good that the strap is tight to keep snow out. I took the dark grey. I like that it's waterproof, a must have when clearing snow.
