This is a very well made brake lock, I have no real complaints other than the ugly branding and lack of color options otherwise I would have given this 5 stars

I like to leave my bike in a public parking lot and I do NOT worry about whether it will be there. Lock it without a key. Open with the key and go!

Handle damaged on first use. The metal bit into the handle on the first use. You can just rubber guard the bottom half and the top half digs into the grip.

This is a nifty device that locks the disc brake on your bike or motorcycle. It is compact and relatively easy to transport. Together with a normal bike lock it should protect your bike and the quick release front wheel against theft.

Soooo I bought this so I could go to a bar with a friend (responsible attention) and put it outside can let and lock front brakes so no one can just run away with my bike the problem is I can't get it to lock, it doesn't completely cover my grips so without rubber inserts it has a gap of about 1-2 centimeters doesn't matter how hard i try to push this thing together to lock them no better if its with the brake on or not i cant close it all the way so i can lock it i would give it a 5 out of 5…

I have recently bought a moped/motorcycle and while legalizing this item the idea of an anti-theft device came to me. First thought was Disc Lock, but the moment I saw this throttle and break lock I loved it. I should have had one. Recently received in the mail. I'm a little disappointed Ted that the pads make it impossible to use the lock, but other than that the lock works fine without the pads. Thanks for a great product.

It says 1 inch in diameter. But says it will fit 1 inch bars. Well, unfortunately that's not true. It says 27mm-34mm or 38mm if I remember correctly. I have a 2010 Kawasaki Vulcan 900 Custom. With stick handles. No matter what I did or how tight I held, and without the rubber inserts, it couldn't fully engage. will close But not to the end so I can put the lock in the lock. I have 1 inch grips and it doesn't fit. So I had to go back because it was unusable for my bike.

I won't be using it all the time because the bike is in the garage, but it's nice to know that a cheap anti-theft device can be on hand and quickly lock my BMW Urban GS on short shopping trips. The quality is heavy enough to fix the helmet at the same time. The only problem is the plastic spacers which need to be epoxy glued after customizing the handle shape or use a rubber band instead.
