Works as expected in audio cables

I don't put too much stress on the product (plugged in and left plugged in), but the build quality is good. The sound quality in the application isn't the best at first, but the adapter doesn't cause any further deterioration in the sound quality.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • No power

Good Stereo Mini Phono Plugs

One of these works well for connecting two lengths of stereo cable to miniature stereo phono preamps to connect a speaker system to a Dell Experian 15z laptop. The sound quality is as good as you would expect from the $30 or $40 speakers I use. I believe that with a high quality speaker system, the adapter will provide excellent sound quality.

Pros
  • I Hold My Fists
Cons
  • Frequency

Good cheap solution

Very simple and does what I need. I use it as an extension for the headphone cable coming from the TV. The fit is snug, and depending on the plug you plug in, you might have to fiddle with it to get the left and right channels coming through clearly. I'm using a headset with a mic, so the poles can't line up perfectly without a little adjustment from time to time. With the right settings, the sound is clear and lossless.

Pros
  • Elegant design
Cons
  • Negative gift

Honestly a little disappointed

So they work, but you have to twist the audio cable that "comes out" to the right position, otherwise the sound won't be full and it will sound like a wire broken in the headphones/speakers . As an alternative, to make them work all the time, plugging in an audio splitter as an "output" would make it perfect all the time, but the splitter has an oddly high voltage when you plug or unplug cables, so if you like me and like to test different headphones/speakers, that's tedious.

Pros
  • Lots of positive vibes
Cons
  • Clarity

Good device for connecting 3.5mm input ends.

If you have two cables with 3.5mm input jacks and want to connect them together, this is the device for you. So far they've worked great, providing a solid connection with no buzzing, popping or hissing. I used one to extend a cable from a laptop to a set of speakers that were too far away and still had no noise cancellation or issues. Handy useful little muffs I would recommend to anyone who needs female/female 3.5mm muffs.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Very Expensive

Does not work for audio with 4-wire headphones

I've connected 4-wire headphones for audio only, but they don't provide a good enough connection for clear sound. They seem to work well when connected to a speaker that uses a 3 wire cable. I tested with a 3-wire audio cable connected to a Fire tablet and an iPhone SE. In both cases the jacks worked with an external speaker but not with 4-wire headphones. I believe that such connectors should only transmit sound to 4-wire headphones, and if they are not designed for this, then this should be…

Pros
  • Accessories and consumables
Cons
  • I'll write again later

Nuttin' Fancy - simply cheap and functional

You really only need one, but why not have a spare pair in your pocket? The build quality won't blow your mind or anything, but what do you expect? So I hooked up this little guy semi-permanently where he has to work at least once a week and that's fine. @ in a month. It's probably not what you would choose for a critical or professional setup, but it's good enough for my application. If one day I run into problems and need an update, it's not a big surprise, but at the same time it's not a big

Pros
  • RCA cable
Cons
  • Big and bulky
