The bottom screw does not hold the telescopic shaft in place when you extend it. The clip holds the phone firmly, but the weight of my Galaxy S7 phone without the case is too much and the position won't hold even when the screw on the ball joint is tightened. I am not satisfied with this product. It was a waste of money.

This tripod has a flexible neck that can be bent in any direction. I use it for videos from above, while seated, or in hard-to-reach places while recording. The tripod can be extended to an appropriate height. Strong grip holds cellphone for video. It's fairly light, which means it can tip over if not careful. This also means it can be positioned in many different ways. All in all it serves my purpose for the price.

I bought this because I needed something to hold my phone while I was painting for a college class and that's what the teacher recommended. It held the phone perfectly and was very durable. The only problem I had was that the ball joint that tilted the phone when holding it wasn't strong enough to hold it at any angle, otherwise the phone would hang down and you had to defy gravity and try to fix it outsmart. . Everything else is solid and easy to use.

Instructions not included but relatively easy to assemble. The flexing part barely supports the weight of the iPhone 7 Plus, almost as hard as the clips to hold the phone securely. That's what I was afraid of, although I ordered a different phone mount to attach to the tripod portion if needed. Kufox thought about it and used a proprietary bolt that doesn't fit traditional camera accessories. Hopefully it lasts long enough to merit a replacement.

This is an amazing tripod! I needed something that was my height or larger (I'm 5'5"). It's taller than me and the quality of the stand is excellent. The phone holder clip holds my phone with no problem and it even comes with two clips in case I do ever need one.It was very easy to assemble and is light weight so easy to move.I am in direct sales and needed a tripod that I can move up and down and has the right angles for video/photos I highly recommend this tripod.

UPDATE: After only using this stand for a few months part of the clip broke and it is not holding my phone properly. It was good while it lasted. This stand feels pretty solid and works great when I need to quickly capture live how-to videos or hands-free footage from my phone on the go.
