Find another screen if you want to use the touchscreen capabilities

I bought this screen to use with a Raspberry Pi3 and was very disappointed with the touchscreen performance. I cannot operate the touchscreen with my fingers or the touchscreen stylus. From the start I couldn't even calibrate the screen as the screen couldn't detect that I was touching its corners. What also didn't particularly please me is the fact that the screen doesn't stay in place in the Raspberry Pi's case. After touching the screen while trying to calibrate, the screen buckled under the

Not the best solution for plug and play LCDs

It took some effort to install and I had to ask for outside help but once we installed the drivers the screen works amazing. If you are good with computers or have a friend who can help you, I would definitely get one. If you don't know how to install drivers, or Linux scares you, I'd take a look at one of the HDMI plug and play screens.

  • Excellent overall performance

I wouldn't even pay $10 for it

Not sure if it's just a blemish or something. The ethernet side has been cracked to keep it from sticking together. There are no instructions, so you'll have to figure out for yourself that there's an extra part in the box. I couldn't get the screen to work when I finally assembled everything. All in all a bad experience. Could you give me one of these let alone pay $35 for it. Complete rubbish IMO and I think I'll pay more $ for better quality. For heaven's sake, let's at least put the diagram

This baby is no good

Assembled for the first time and one of the acrylic sides was broken and Amazon sent a replacement. Picked up again without any problems. The case doesn't seem strong to me. I pick up the Pi and hear the acrylic slide a little, which is disconcerting. There are no written instructions on the case or where the thermal synchronizers should go. Nevertheless, thermal clocks are simply uncoated metal (except for glue) that can be placed between CPUs/CPU and metal. Also, one of the thermal syncs…

Bulky Case Assembly

Great product but it took me a while to figure out the right build sequence for my Pi and camera. I thought the easiest way after removing the coating from the acrylic is to align the pi on the baseplate with the hole above the display chip, then assemble the 2 corners 1st, and then assemble them together with or without the fan board. Then place the clocks in place with thermal paste if needed. I went without a fan but that may change if I add something. The display is beautiful and easy to…
