I love these brushes! Not only are they inexpensive, they print beautifully on white paper and look great on black or other colored paper. The colors and metallic sheen are beautiful, they haven't dried out and I'm just really impressed with them. I was disappointed with these handles as they were metal. Silver was the only one that could be easily identified and used as a metal. The green and blue had a very slight metallic sheen that could be seen when the paper was tilted in the sun. The rest of the pens were an entirely matte color, including gold, which was particularly disappointing; a flat dark brownish gold that I can't see at all. I just received it and I'm very disappointed. After testing them I noticed that 3 of them had almost no shine. Only the silver really shone; Green and blue glowed *slightly*, but very faintly. The purple marker was essentially just a solid color apart from the occasional speck where it was metallic. The gold and red didn't have a hint of shimmer, however. Most of these glowing reviews were probably written after an impressive first impression. When delivered, the pens write fluently, with great variation and fine lines. Silver looked fantastic, green, blue and purple were fine, gold was acceptable and red was disappointing in terms of brilliance but still a lovely colour.
