Odd design is best for tablet accessories

The product looks good and does what I want, but there's something odd about it. The pen slot is on the same side of the folio that you put the tablet in. In other words, if you closed the folio with the tray facing up when you opened it, the pen was down! This means that if you want to close the folio and remove the pen, you must turn the folio over. This is a small detail, but an important one. I have no idea why they designed it the way they did.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • Upgradable

Bad design is good for computers and accessories

Works until I find something better. The pen slot is on the back of the folio so when lowered it normally rests on the pen rather than staying flat. So out of habit I put it flat front, but in meetings I look like an idiot struggling to open it quickly or having to turn it over to open it properly. Stupid. Buy something else if it makes economic sense and is available.

Pros
  • Dope 🔥
Cons
  • Long delivery time

A few quibbles

Overall very good value for money, but not without flaws. I don't like the pen holder on the back, the rubber band catches the tip of the pen and the tablet doesn't lay flat on the table with the pen inside. Also, the plastic interferes with the magnets, making it very unreliable to hold the stylus on the side of the device. I think a pen loop on the side or a cutout in the plastic to better attach the pen to the tablet would be a better option. Also, tent mode works the wrong way. The RM2's…

Remarkable2 Landscape mode not available for reading or typing

If you don't want to read a note you've already written in landscape mode, this is for you. Everything else, forget it. You cannot convert a note, PDF, or e-book to landscape view directly from RM2. I'll save it in case RM2 releases an update for it in the future.

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Makes me angry

Good protection but uncomfortable to hold.

If you just need a protective case and you need it now, I think it's good enough. But it misses the main advantage of the original folio. Compared to my reMarkable 2 Book Folio, this case doesn't have the same ergonomics. It's not as uncomfortable to hold with one hand, but the rM2 Book Folio feels a lot better in the hand. The attached image should show the loop in the folio that the front cover will form when folded back. This is completely absent in Kuroko's case. If the designers used the…

Not bad... for the price.

For the price, a good alternative to what Remarkable believes to be its case. The materials feel comfortable and appear durable. Rm2 latches securely and is well protected. But that's where it all ends. Considering the case holds the RM2 in place with a TPU tray, I don't like the design where this case can be folded back to place the RM2 in a horizontal viewing position. The RM2 is not designed for horizontal viewing like an iPad or Android tablet. It is meant to be held in portrait orientation

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

Pen slot on the back

Not very happy with this one. The pen slot is on the back of the tablet, not the front, meaning you can't just open the case and get to work if you put it on a desk; You must first pick it up and turn it over. Not the best writing experience. i will return it

  • Don't waste your time

Very good! - Bags, Pouches & Cases

This folio looks stylish! The Remarkable 2 tablet came right in and feels like a bug. The folio looks stylish and professional. The texture feels very similar to the manufacturer's resin fabric folio/sleeve (ie not smooth like leather). I prefer the rougher feel of polymer so I went with this one. I don't mind having the marker sleeve on the back. It makes the front end look clean and crisp and I don't find it awkward to pull the marker out there, but I understand some may find that odd. I can…
