I expected better from Kurt Adler's product. Some of the gold paint has chipped off and I need to fix one side because it fell apart. The packaging was ok, so it's not the delivery. Poor quality for something I hoped to keep for the next decade.

The picture is wrong. I bought one many years ago and it died. Luckily I found this as a replacement. The colors are just as bright and strong as in the picture. Beware of fakes. I've seen it for sale in stores of the same name. but much cheaper quality.

Just received the star. This is a great looking piece. However, when I opened the box, the bottom of the star was broken. The shipping box was undamaged and well packaged, so I'm inclined to think it wasn't checked before it was packed for shipping. Now I'll have to find my own way to return it for a refund and find another one before Christmas. Such an inconvenience.

I was delighted to purchase this to put on my colorful tree. When it arrived we quickly took it out of the box and were about to hang it on a tree only to find it had no backing. It's amazing to look straight at! But if you look from the side or the back, you'll see that there's only a backlight, no color substrate. It's such a shame because it's a really beautiful shape.

Luckily I'm an artist and very good with a hot glue gun and fixed it with no return. As with the previous reviews, I probably should have listened but I really wanted this design. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the outer packaging of the Revain package, and the inner box was fine, and it was also broken inside and carefully tied like around the broken place, as if QC is someone with a wooden eye and another missing

Looks nice up in the tree, but it's not easy to get there. At the bottom of the ornament is an inverted metal cone that should lead to the central branch of the tree. Good luck with it. If you don't have a large branch in the right position, it will never work. I used wire to attach it to a short length of dowel and then tied the dowel to the tree. A possible small problem is that it is one-sided. Looks good from the front but if you can see the back you can see the wiring and lightbulbs.
