Problems with stabilizing the lower vertebra.

I had the same problem with the bottom hinge as a previous customer with bouncing up and down because the bottom hinge was too narrow to fit standard receivers. I'm trying to figure out how to stabilize them. Otherwise they are very well built.

very good! on Motorcycle & Powersports

I bought a Kuryakyn 4 inch adjustable lockable extension for my 4 year old daughter who wanted to ride a Harley. They were easy to install and set up. I have a Dyna could fold it down and the footpeg under the rear shocks on each side. They hide well when not in use. It's a very heavy piece of metal, very durable. I would recommend them to anyone who needs to raise the rear footpegs for kids higher.

Just what I needed

Not installed yet. They are well made and very adjustable. Adapts to stock OEM mounts for height adjustment, forward or down for the passenger. In my case, instead of pins, I have Kuryakyn miniboards. I made a mistake on the first order. I bought Kuryakyn 2" replacement mounts. I needed the altitude. They are the same height as the standard brackets. You must use these with the factory mounts for height adjustment or other adjustable settings.

Poor installation and operation

There must be a way for the bottom hinge not to work. When installed, the device can be lifted or folded into the side cover. The footpeg's top hinge is enough to fold it out of the way. Also, the lower pivot is much narrower than the bike's cradle because the spring washer doesn't prevent it from swinging. Two spring washers did not fit, had to make a thin washer out of sheet metal as a spacer so that the spring washer works.

I bought for my 2017 Indian Scout motorcycle, there was a .

Bought for my 2017 Indian Scout as there wasn't enough room between the footpeg and derailleur. My foot got stuck a bit with every shift, whether it was Converse boots or sneakers. The heads needed to be narrow for my bike, but with 3 washers, a 5/16 1'3/4" hex bolt, 2 lock washers and a lock nut (all stainless steel of course) that would work. I figured so I bought one Kuryakyn Spline Adapter for Victory & Indian, Chrome #8836 replaced the head and perfected the legs and pins ratio.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Infinitely sluggish

Uncomfortable leg position

Due to a serious issue I had to give them 3 stars. The quality of these parts seems very high, but once installed, they don't just "move" the footrest straight in the direction you specified. You also move the pin further away from the bike. This causes an alignment problem with your shift and break controls. This created the very uncomfortable problem of "twisting" the feet and knees when manipulating any of the controls. After driving around the city for about an hour, my legs hurt a lot from
