With this horn they avoid you!

My previous Ultra had a double Kuryakin horn installed. I really liked the horn but they don't make it anymore. Need a loud horn for my new Street Glide. Tried this horn and it's just as good, maybe even louder and easier to install. The horn cap is chrome plated plastic as mentioned by other reviewers but like most Kuryakyn products it is high quality and looks as good as chrome plated steel.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Vulgarity

Stopped working after a few uses.

I am changing my review to this one. I installed this according to the instructions and it worked fine when I first sued it. I noticed that after about 10 uses it wasn't as full as it used to be. Then it just stopped working. I double checked the wiring to make sure nothing is loose, but when I press the button it just makes a slight grinding noise. I thought Kuryakan was known for their quality product but not in this case. They said it was garbage.

  • Dope 🔥

Looks better than an exposed chrome horn

Looks better than an exposed chrome horn, although it seems expensive for plastic chrome. This makes it less noticeable from the side of the running board. It trembles a little, but after about 2000km of mileage it's still there. In addition to the supplied adhesive strips, I used adhesive sealant in a few places. I just screwed on the original horn bracket on my 12th highway slip. I wish Wolo would release a chrome metal cover with a more streamlined design.

Pros
  • Wide range
Cons
  • Trade in available

Cheap assembly and not worth it

I bought the horn in an open box. Upon receipt, the horn was opened. expected. Not enough wiring relays. I had to buy locally at the auto parts store. Installed on the bike, pretty easy. Used a few times during installation. It sounded okay. Then he was at the parade and often honked. After 3-4 uses the beep stopped making noise. After further examination. The pump made a grinding noise or there was no noise Revain must confirm before sale that all parts are in the box if sold in an open box.

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Out of style

I absolutely do not regret my purchase.

Fantastic product, well made and easy to put together. Very, very loud. Absolutely nothing in terms of sound compared to the original that was on my Harley Davidson Rd. King Classic. The only thing I really complain about is that the plastic cap covering the horn only has a strip of double sided tape attached to the horn itself. I'm not enthusiastic about this "technology". Definitely not the best way to use a machine that vibrates. But overall I'm happy with the purchase and would definitely…

Pros

  • Having trouble

From original purchase May 2016: (see poor performance update below) I saw it was plastic based on reviews (thanks) but still had good reviews. The sound is amazing - the original classic Harley cool and steel bell, but sounded like a cute little car, not for a burly pig. And not noisy enough for safety with the windows closed. I did not connect the supplied fuse line and after a month I was able to supply power via the existing horn cable without any problems - and I have no qualms about…
