Small replacement bushings

The shock absorbers worked great but the rubber bushings are very small compared to my own and I wasn't a big fan of them on my Cherokee.

Pros
  • Great design
Cons
  • Can't remember but there was something

Shock, shock, good shock!

Quality shock for my 2" Cherokee with lift kit. The ride feels quite rough and from what I can imagine probably rougher than the stock.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • Great price

Very pleasant ride and factory update

Great upgrade for the front of my Jeep XJ. Better handling than the much more expensive dampers I've bought in the past. Not too hard. Not too soft

Pros
  • Everything great!

Good shock absorbers for my Jeep

Copy and paste my other review as they are sold as front and rear kits. I have a Jeep that had Upcountry shocks installed when it was new. They correspond to the HD Rancho type shock absorbers. I was worried those shocks would make the truck float a bit (which is why I dropped the stock shocks when I got the car). However, they have excellent control and ride quality. The ride is slightly softer than the Up Country damper, but firmer than the stock damper. All in all a great replacement shock…

Pros
  • This is great
Cons
  • Negative gift

HOW A SCHOOL BUS IS TOO STRONG AND DANGEROUS

Too bouncy my stick height XJ feels like a school bus now if I hadn't bought them for $20 and threw away the old ones I would have reinstalled them Gabriel. The old shocks weren't that bad, but I figured that along with the new coil spring bushings would reduce the squeak. My steering wheel used to be sloppy like most XJs, but after this setup I had to buy a redesigned steering box (twice, they all obviously suck) or I couldn't drive on the freeway because of the heavy wandering on the damn…

Pros
  • good thing
Cons
  • minor issues

Decent shock absorbers at a reasonable price.

These shock absorbers appear to be a decent quality product at a reasonable price. I installed them on a 1997 Jeep Cherokee Sport. My car has a lot of rust on the underside so removing the old shock absorbers was a chore. After removing the old shock absorbers, installing new ones was easy. The only noticeable difference between them and the OEM shocks is the end where the two bolts attach. The OEM shocks had fully closed bolt holes on the bottom, while the KYB shocks had open U-shaped holes on

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Weight
