Japanese quality is good for shock absorbers

Installed on 2010 Kia Forte Koup SX. The only problem I had during installation was squeezing the posts back into their original position. These racks stop instantly when you brake, well-made replacement parts.

Pros
  • Certified
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other options

Works perfectly. - Parts

My Hyundai Accent kept sliding down the road with every bump. The rebound of the original shock absorbers was wrong. Replaced them with gas shock absorbers and the problem is completely solved. The handling is a bit tighter, but ok, no more problems. costs money.

Pros
  • Sturdy construction
Cons
  • No automatic transmission

Great value

They replaced tired 147,000 mile OEM shocks on my 2010 Forte Koup. They fit perfectly and have regained control. Yes, they're a bit stiffer than the lackluster factory shocks, but the rear end is stronger. Installation is easy; Remove the rear wheels and you will see a 17mm bolt at the top and a 3/4" nut at the bottom.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Some small things

The journey was terrible. Dealer wanted about $800 to replace

Leak in one of the stock 2011 Kia Forte shock absorbers. The journey was terrible. The dealer wanted around 800€ for a replacement. I bought 2 of these and with my trusty Harbor Freight Impact the job was done in about 20 minutes. Huge difference. It feels a little stiff as some other reviews have said, but that may be because I've only had a working shock before. Save some money, pick up your car and do it yourself in less than an hour.

Pros
  • . Everything is great!
Cons
  • Expensive
