My 2005 Silverado 1/2ton now drives like a 3/4ton

My 2005 Silverado 1/2ton now drives like a 3/4ton. These shocks are really stiff, but that's what I was looking for. My truck has always had soft, plush suspension with lots of body roll in corners, nothing more. I can't believe the difference they made. I like driving Cadillacs, don't buy them.

Terrible shock absorbers best in shock absorber

I bought these shock absorbers for my GMC Sierra 1500 2006 2wd. I bought in April 2017, I am in January 2018 and they failed. They dry out and are not covered under warranty as they are not defective, just worn out. This is not a work vehicle, but an everyday vehicle for home use. So beware of these guarantees. The shocks didn't help and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. You shouldn't replace the shock absorbers on your truck too often.

I bought a set of these shocks for my 2007 Silverado 1500 Classic from rockauto.com (best price I could find) and I love them. I replaced the stock shocks on my pickup with Monroe shocks, but they were too soft. I put them on and after a lot of research online I decided to try KYB shocks. Easy to install and the ride is exactly what I was looking for. The manageability is excellent. I would highly recommend them to all other brands I have used in the past. From now on it's KYB on my Chevy…
