Serves its purpose. The safe is a good size. However, less than three months have passed and the parties are collapsing... defeating the purpose of this vault. I've handled it very well, but I feel this product just doesn't last. For the quality it is definitely not worth the price. I want to return the money.

I ordered one of these to hide the goodies. Opened but the binding is slightly torn. Nothing fancy, it gives it an authentic look. The lock works great and is easy to set up. Bought for $12 and received the next morning. Will definitely buy again, great gift for the new year.

The product looked nice and you couldn't tell it was a safe. Within 2-3 weeks of opening, maybe once a week, the lock would stick and not open. I tried to drop the combo and everything but I didn't budge. Luckily it was fairly cheaply made and my husband was able to take his pocket knife, open the metal and put my essentials inside.

Seems ok. I was hoping for one with real paper pages, not plastic pages. I think I should have looked at the information better. Safe working, metal inside. It looks like a book on the shelf, but closer inspection reveals that it is a fake. The lock worked when I first set up the combo, so we'll see if it's suitable for travel and use!

I opened the package and after a moment's thought ordered a real dictionary. Then I remembered that I had ordered this elegant safe that looks and feels like a real book. The lock is solid and the combo was very easy to change. The edges of the book are textured to look like a well-used book. I put it on my bookshelf with other reference books and you didn't notice the difference. Cute!

**UPDATE. I still can't open the safe but I sincerely hope it was because it was a marriage or an accident. The seller contacted me and offered a replacement or refund. I have accepted the return. I'm so glad they contacted me and were kind enough to give me my money back** Soooo. I love that this book came with a safe inside as pictured. When I unpacked the safe I set the code to lock the safe using the seller's instructions. The inside safe is small enough for a stack of bills, actually 2 stacks of bills. The only literal "put away" is that whoever buys this knows what the book looks like on the outside. If someone is a professional robber and breaks into your home, this book can be taken off the bookshelf (if they are very smart and resourceful). The cover of the book
