Pretty but poor quality. She wore pompoms non-stop. They also get in the way when you close the bag, making it very difficult to close it or accidentally pull even more out of the pom poms. After about a month, the pom poms broke off which made the bag much more comfortable to use, but were pulled out. Everything around it looks cheap.

Oops! I should have listened to other reviews! One of the pom poms was at the bottom of the box when it was delivered! The other pom-pom barely held on! Ouch! I super glued them just before my granddaughter's birthday! I don't think it will last long but I agree with other reviewers. For the backpack itself, it doesn't matter. Your parents will probably just undress you! What do you expect from such a low price?

My daughter loves this bag. If I hadn't found the time to sew the poufs on I would have sent them back. I can't imagine them surviving the first half of the year. Well after two months of use my daughter's pom pom ears just fell off. My daughter was very upset. The gold decor doesn't seem to be peeling off and the straps don't come loose which is the only reason I give it 3 stars.
