My Favorite Cross Country Runners! I get plantar exercises easily with shoes with no flex or with too much arch support. Since using this shoe I have no more blisters and PF. I love them, they dry quickly even after crossing a creek. I wear regular US size 8.5 shoes. I always order a full size up so I ordered a 9.5 so I wouldn't blacken my toenails on the descents. 👍💯

I bought them mainly for short hikes and they work wonders. If a pair of sneakers were the same price and we had terrible shoes, I would feel everything under my feet. This pair and my Salomon Comet hiking shoes are the best. I use my Salomon for long hikes and La Sportiva for short hikes. If you can still find one in your size I recommend buying an extra pair. I know Salomon stopped making the Comet style so I bought an extra pair.

This is my second pair of the same shoes but in a different color. I recently switched from hiking shoes to La Sportiva running shoes. I love this shoe for both day hikes and long hikes. They are very comfortable (no calluses on either pair) and dry quickly after creek and snow crossings. When I wore them on hikes, I kept my pack under 35 pounds. So if you're packing a heavy load, comfort can be compromised. I've also stopped wearing hiking boots as they are comfortable enough to leave at camp.

Have you ever tried on a shoe and immediately knew it was comfortable? It's that shoe. I did a two mile hike as soon as I took them out of the box. I really like how the top is woven, great for the Phoenix heat, and the bottom has good rock profile but still has a bit of "compliance" so you don't feel like you're walking on two blocks of wood. I really like the fit of La Sportiva shoes and boots. I have wide, high-arched feet and am relatively square on top (all toes are the same length). I have La Sportiva M Hike boots and have had other La Sportiva trail running shoes in the past and really liked the fit. I usually wear a size 8.5 so I ordered a size 40 for this shoe and it was the right size for me.
