Description of LabExact Cellulose Weighing Non Absorbing High Gloss Test, Measure & Inspect for Scales & Balances

Cellulose weighing paper conveys powder or gelatinous paste samples to and from balances and other equipment. Highly-calendered surface (non-treated gloss) to a smoothness which resists sample hold or moisture absorption. High gloss, milk-white cellulose paper is semi-opaque, non-absorbent, and nitrogen-free. Surface texture resists tearing during quadrant folding or enveloping and increases abrasion durability during spatula scraping. Material chemistries are verified against a standard prior to paper-making process, ensuring lot-to-lot reproducibility.

excellent product as expected, will order again

excellent product as expected, will order again. worked to weigh my powders. However, they did tend to curl up on the sides when placed on a flat surface, but that really wasn't a huge problem.

Pros
  • surface texture resists tearing when quadrant folding or wrapping and increases abrasion resistance when scraping
Cons
  • crumpled

Poor packaging

The product itself seemed good. it seemed very similar to what we were using before. Unfortunately the packaging was very bad. One of the three packages actually ripped open inside the box and spilled its contents. That's not enough for laboratory equipment. I was able to save most of the third package and the other two didn't break, even though they were badly packaged.

Pros
  • Cellulosic weighing paper transports samples of powder or gelatin paste to and from scales and other equipment
Cons
  • Large and bulky
