Makes it easy to align my tiles.

I bought this to help me lay wall tiles in my basement. This made it easier to align the joints. I was able to make small movements by lifting the tiles to align the seam lines. They were larger and uncomfortable to move by hand. But this tool was able to handle the weight and also easily rested. I'm very glad I found this!

Won't lift 50lbs let alone 300 as advertised, barely lift an 18 " closet.

When it worked it was very easy to use. It won't lift much weight and will still work. Thought it would be perfect for closets but when he can't even lift an 18" closet off the floor it makes things worse. It's said he'll lift up to 300, but that's closer to 40 pounds. It's also a little sloppy. I love these tools and they can be very useful, but my advice is to go with a better brand.

Very light weight - doesn't lift much at all

The product description says "With a lifting capacity of up to 300lbs / 135kg". I felt safe from something like 100 pounds. I was wrong. It didn't break anything, but as it gained weight, the mechanism kept slipping and the object I was trying to lift didn't move. I'm partly to blame for that. I was thrilled when I found this and couldn't read the other reviews. I managed to lift a 30 lb object but it wouldn't lift an end of the couch that I can lift with my hand.
