It's light and has fans, but the fan seems to hit something. I definitely don't know if I could use it if it wasn't. The fan is very quiet, which I'm really surprised and happy about. I expected it to be too loud. The blue light isn't as distracting as I thought, just enough to tell you there is blue light, but not at all distracting in the dark. The fans don't blow air very quickly or much, but they create enough air to circulate under my laptop to get the job done. Cools my laptop and me excellently. I used to feel a lot of heat on my legs from my laptop, but this not only keeps the laptop cool, it also keeps me from feeling that heat, so we're both happier.
