The size has changed since I bought my last batch.

I bought the same filters a year ago and they have worked great in my GE filter housing. After comparing old and new filters, this batch is 1/8 inch larger than the previous batch, so the canister cannot close completely and leaks badly. I'm putting the old filter back in and looking for another replacement. I'm disappointed, especially because the last batch worked so well.

It's a 10 micron filter. it is useless for drinking water filtration

They shade the micron filter level in the description (these are 10 micron filters). Basically, it just filters out dirt and rust. It will NOT filter out 97% of the chlorine or improve the taste like they claim. Spring. it's not for me anyway. 3 of these filters in a 3 filter box lasted about 3 weeks before the water was back to normal tap water quality. This is mostly good as the pre-filter is what I end up using with the remaining 3.

The best I've found, albeit a bit pricey compared to some

Best I've found yet. I've tried many other well water filters and they seem to remove odors, color and sediment better than anything I've tried. Tried a few cord wrapped cheaper hard styrofoam like ones (several brands) and some 3M Filtrete filters similar to these. , the filters did something weird and left a lot of green mold in the canister and other junk. When I used them after the canister got all dirty and wanted to replace one, the stains in the canister were gone. I also think they last
