I love this knife: Peeling knife

I love this knife. I called it "Old Stubby" for a while, but now that I've got used to it I don't use anything else to peel strawberries or apples.

  • Good workmanship

IF YOU WANT A GREAT LOOKING AND FUNCTIONAL WORKER KNIFE BUY NOW

I love the shape, build quality and beauty of this knife. The red scales on the handle really make this knife stand out, and the polished stainless steel adds to the beauty. The knife is instantly razor sharp, so what more could you ask for.

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Some issues

Lamson is now unable to sharpen the blade while holding it straight?

The edge of the blade is not straight but slightly concave, like a bird's beak blade. Anyone who sharpened it removed too much in the middle. This makes it difficult to resharpen on a waterstone wheel without changing the straight blade shape. This is a Lamson knife. A shame.

I made a mistake with this purchase.

I like the regular Lampson with the red plastic handle. I wanted to take 2 of them, same size but sort of ordered. What a stupid knife. Not what I will use. Right now a paring knife, love this thing! And a chef's knife with the same handle! 3 stars because it was the wrong item, the quality was great!

  • Don't waste too much time
