Cabins no longer have large drawer openings

I always carry rework boxes in my work truck. Microwave cabinets are always installed with one of them through the back of the cabinet. Then the front panel is always perfect.

Pros
  • Outstanding Achievement
Cons
  • Disappear

Overall great! The price was right.

Used as a replacement for a poorly adjusted new work box. I removed the old one and replaced it with this one. Job Complete. It could have been even better with 4 wings or more lip, but certainly good enough to get the job done as long as the hole isn't too big.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • So-so

Ideal for old walls

Designed for use in areas where drywall already exists. I used paneling to outline the hole I needed to cut, used a drywall saw to cut the hole, put it in after I routed the wiring, tightened the screws, and it's a solid socket that handles everything connected to it.

Pros
  • Good Price
Cons
  • Expensive

Baffled but pleased Electric

HomeDirect.eStore advertised a price of $2.89 with a confusing breakdown of 24 cents each. My credit card was only charged $1.72. I got exactly what I needed when it was promised, but was embarrassed as hell that it was packed, labeled and shipped from Lowe Customer Service in Norcross, GA.

Easy Installation!: Electrical Boxes, Wiring & Fittings

Great product with easy installation. I added an outlet to an existing circuit so I could wall mount the TV and hide the power cord. These boxes fit into a small rectangular hole that you cut in the drywall and then simply tighten with the provided tabs and a screwdriver. It couldn't be easier. Great product for the price!

Pros
  • good stuff
Cons
  • good but not great

This is the one I used

I was just about to add an external outlet in front of my house. This and the old ranch were built in the 1960's. I kinda knew what to expect but wasn't sure which box would be best so I ordered 3 types before it hit the wall. A 90 degree nail, a 45 degree screw, and this one with flip tabs. Cutting through the wall I came across 3/8" plywood sheathing, so it turned out a box with a flip-tab would be the simplest yet strongest. . Setting up this type of box was the easy part of the job.

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • Speed

Easily installs on electrical boxes, wires and fittings

Has everything you need. Installs easily. I traced the outline on my wall (even sides only, skip tabs). I then used a knife and a small handsaw to cut through the drywall. A steak knife might even work. I then fed the wires through and tightened the two screws to hold it to the drywall.

Pros
  • Tools and Household Goods
Cons
  • Thin

Easy installation! for electrical boxes, wires and fittings

Great product with easy installation. insert into the small square hole you cut in the drywall and then simply tighten with the provided tabs and screwdriver. It couldn't be easier. Great product for the price!

Pros
  • Electrical
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Exactly as described. Well built and practical. Some people complain that they broke their tongue. Just make sure everything lines up well and you're not trying to put a crooked box against the wall, relying on a screw and tab to straighten it (it might crash that way), but correctly done, no problem. And yes, although the price for a single box was high (December 2017), buying the whole box made it valuable and I didn't have to go to the big box store. Happy customer who needed more than a few

Pros
  • Distribution Boxes
Cons
  • Slightly Crumpled
