I hate wearing swimwear and wanted longer shorts that would cover my hips better. It is great! They fit perfectly, dry quickly and can be worn around town even after getting out of the water.

Shorts fit well and look good. I wear it when I teach aqua aerobics classes. The only problem I have is the noise they make when you move or walk. The nylon they are made of makes a "whistling" sound. A bit odd but love the Lands End shorts and products.

Different colors from different fabrics. The Black Havana floral fabric is thicker than the Black/White Prism floral fabric, I like the latter but thicker, probably more durable. I also feel they run large, I'm 5ft 5in, 148lbs, a size 10 is too big. for me and 8 fits well.

Needed something modest, comfortable and flattering for a family trip to the Great Lakes. It worked great for boat trips, lake hikes and visits to the resort pool (used it as a cover there). They're longer, so I didn't mind that they looked too much like swimsuits for exploring lake towns, but I didn't mind getting them wet on the boat either.

They run true to size but the material is rough and even after 2 washes they make a noise when walking like Velcro rubbing against each other. I'm almost afraid of starting a fire by rubbing it.😂 No kidding, if you don't want to draw attention to yourself in the pool or on the beach then don't wear them because everyone will hear you approach before they see you. 😂.

perfect! I have bought both regular and petite shorts. I'm 5'3" and skinny shorts fit me better. I kept the regular shorts for myself as I bought them first and needed them immediately. about a half inch shorter than regular shorts and not as loose on me.
