I have a 17 inch laptop and unfortunately there is hardly any space for my mouse. If I didn't have a trackball mouse, it would be very difficult to maneuver a regular mouse. My phone, tablet, and portable hard drive all fit in the slots provided, although I have to use the same slot (the one closest to the edge is slightly larger than the one further away).
