Mikey Monkey Easy Flyer Kite - Large Size Review

Buying a $30 Stuffed Kite I figured if I spent a little more I would get a better quality kite. There isn't much in it. The packaging looked fine, but there are stains on the kite fabric that look like the fabric was either wrinkled or badly dyed. I will update this review after trying it out and maybe give it a star if it flies well but if I were you I would look elsewhere if you are looking for a well made kite. This one is from China and displays everything incorrectly.

I ordered this kite for my 3 year old niece and it was a hit! We flew in Galveston for a few days this summer and this kite has stood up and held up great even in gusty, uneven winds! It wasn't too heavy either and it was easy to deal with. Note the long ribbons at the ends. We accidentally ripped one off while driving a rented golf cart over it. My daughter and I took it to the beach for the weekend and really enjoyed it. I was up for some kite tuning work but it turned out to be easy. A stick over the back of the kite, attach the included rope and you're done. It took about 60 seconds from opening the box to the kite being 30 feet in the air. I keep it folded in a bag under the back seat of my truck so it's there when we're at the beach or the park on a lightly windy day. I think everyone should have one in their car just in case!

Finally a kite my 5 year old and even 2.5 year old can fly. I bought several kites because my kids liked them and most of them gave me a headache. This kite was great. My kids loved the design and it was so easy to fly. We took it to the National Kite Festival and enjoyed it (will be back this year). My 2.5 year old was even able to launch it on his own once during a "run" when I had the kite and rope laid out. If your child liked the picture, you are welcome to buy this kite.

This kite is just amazing. I secured the rope and walked about 30 meters where I picked up the kite and it took off. I went back and picked up the winch and after 20 minutes of flight the wind died down and the kite fell to the ground. We left it there and I put the string winder on the floor while we rested for about 10 minutes. When I came back the snake was gone.
