Description of πŸ₯š MoldFun Giant Easter Egg Mold – Make Giant Surprise Toy Eggs with Dinosaur Design using this Polycarbonate Plastic Mould for Chocolate, Soap, Bath Bombs, and more!

Made of high quality PC material. Innoxious, no peculiar smell, fadeless and easy to clean. Because clear plastic molds scratch easily and collect dust, the egg molds are packaged in sealed, protective, clean poly bags. Uses: chocolate, butter, soap, plaster. May not be used at temperatures over 140 degrees so is not suitable for hard candy and is not dishwasher safe. 2 Cavities per mould. Use clips to hold mould after pouring melted chocolate. Easy to wash and clean after use. This mould is durable for long time use.

Expensive but durable

I used this to make a bottom revealing bath bomb and it was PERFECT! I had to freeze it to keep it in shape, but it was very resilient, I was afraid it would tear.

Pros
  • Awesome
Cons
  • Frequency

0/10, not recommended

I'm pretty good at chocolate. This form is of very poor quality. 0/10 do not recommend. I've tried a few tried and tested methods and the chocolate doesn't come out of shape at all, and I'm no stranger to that. Totally different material than any mold I've ever used. It's already ruined.

Pros
  • Solid build
Cons
  • Problems

directions? for soap making

Don't worry about this shape. I'm by no means a chocolatier; I made a lot of candy over the holidays and this is by far the worst shape I've come across. It won't come out of cups without instructions no matter what I make or use (e.g. super thin layer of chocolate). coconut oil)

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Clarity

Outstanding quality and ease of use

I love this shape. It was difficult to get the chocolate out of the mold at first, but I used the same methods I used to make the chocolate bottle. Helpful Tip: Coat each half in chocolate, leave in the freezer for 10 minutes, and repeat the process. Maybe even 3 times. I did it twice. After chocolate coating it a second time, I left it in the freezer for 30 minutes. It just came out. I put little chocolate dinosaurs inside and glued one half together with chocolate. Goes well with milk and…

Pros
  • Manufactured from high quality polycarbonate. Harmless, no peculiar smell, no fading and easy to clean.
Cons
  • boring packaging

Easy to use!

Media could not be loaded. It's very easy to use! Be sure to clean it with hot soapy water before use and make sure it is completely dry. Try not to leave fingerprints inside. Also temper the chocolate/melting chocolate. It should be cool to the touch before being placed in the mold to set. If you don't, your chocolate/candy will stick! I dusted the mold with gold glitter dust and used green melt candy to make a dinosaur egg! I love it, it's super cute! (Ignore the super cute dog in the video)…

Pros
  • Because clear plastic molds are easily scratched and accumulate dust, egg molds are packaged in airtight, protective, clean plastic bags.
Cons
  • unreliable

Getting used to

I'm not a professional chocolatier but after trial and error I made it! As others have mentioned, I let the melted chocolate cool a bit before adding it to the egg. I also filled it 3/4 full and let the chocolate fill around the edges and then lightly tapped the rest. I also cleaned up the edges to keep them from bleeding. Once sufficiently wetted, I pop it in the freezer for 10-15 minutes until it turns cloudy on the outside, which tells me the chocolate has popped out of the mold. I tap the…

Pros
  • 2 cavities per tool. Use clamps to hold the mold after pouring the melted chocolate.
Cons
  • Doesn't work
