After replacing our old dishwasher we found that residue was left on the drain hose. So I replaced it with this one and it worked fine. So far no leaks or problems!

I deduct one star because if I connect it without a washing machine, then what a mess. Luckily I had one so I didn't have to wait to plug it in. No leaks, smooth connections. Sorry for the washing machine.

Better as a single hose solution than with adapters. We have a 3/4 inch hose valve inlet and then a standard dishwasher inlet. Very durable appearance and nice finish on threaded areas.

This is a beautifully crafted item. If you've never installed it, be prepared for water to drip onto the floor, even when the water is turned off and the rimmed tub is under the washing machine hookup. A piece of twine or strong twine on the overlapped end of the tubing attached to the new line will help pull it back to the overlap. I bought this to install a new Bosch dishwasher. Went over, fixed a connection that might leak in the future. I like that. Although the end that connects to the tubing is a 3/8" compression fitting that connects to the hole in the fitting, I'm assuming that the hose (you can't see into the hose) is 1/4 inch in size.
