This is the fitting required to connect the water supply to a Bunn coffee maker. They can be hard to find at cardboard hardware stores.

Exactly what we needed. The Bunn coffee pot had a 1/4" flare in the back and we used 1/4" braided compression cord. To eliminate the short copper section we needed this adapter. I couldn't find it at Lowes, Home Depot or Menards!

I can only agree with other reviews using this on a Bunn coffee maker. This is what you need if you don't want to flare up the pipes. Yes, the price is too high, but I managed. It comes with a copper washer on the front of the expansion fitting on the back of the bunn, and the flex lines with compression swivels connect straight up. No leaks, no fuss. It comes from China and you will of course need a 13mm wrench or adjustable wrench.
