🛁 Hot Lather Machine - Lather Time Professional Review

I was looking for a new foam machine after trying 3 2nd gen Lather King machines which are total rubbish. I was skeptical about Lather Time Machine but they are workhorses. I've bought 4 now and never had a problem. Just a tip: set them on a timer to turn them off at night. You don't need hot foam 24 hours a day. You will burn this coil and the soap will be disgusting.

Delivered on time within 2 days. Got it out of the box. Read and follow the instructions. The car worked as it should. I had hot lather and shaved my client in 10 minutes. Even he said it was the smoothest shave he's ever had at a barber. No drips or leaks. No problem.

I bought this soap dish because I had one in the past that worked perfectly. This one suddenly pours foam all over the place and I could never get the foam right. I also can't contact anyone about the product warranty.

Ever since Campbell's Latherking redesigned their original machine we have struggled to find a good foamer which I feel was unfortunately a huge mistake. It must be unplugged at all times as there is no on/off switch. I figured I would get at least 2 years of these in my store. My barber shop is small - I'm the only barber and we used them at school. So I've been running it twice a week every week since October 2020. He stopped working where almost nothing comes out, he publishes the loudest and started smoking. I keep taking it off, even though I've left it on twice overnight because I was in a hurry. WHY IS THERE NO ON/OFF BUTTON?!? Anyway…

I used this product when I was a hairdresser. The reason I give it four stars is that the foam takes longer to come out when the water level drops a little below the fill line. Another complaint is that the foam is sometimes so hot that I can't handle it. Sometimes it's not warm enough no matter how long the jet runs. It still gets the job done and I haven't found another product that compares to it, so four stars seems reasonable despite my concerns.

For a $170 professional machine, this soap maker should last for years. I am very disappointed and have already had to order a replacement. I've followed all the cleaning instructions but it still doesn't work.

I bought this machine at the end of February last year and since the shop I work in is still open I rarely use it.
