The only nice thing about this product is the patterns. That's all. Not as thick as advertised. Sticks together and does not get a "smooth" surface after being placed on the ironing board. I thought it was my ironing board so I bought a new one as mine was 10 years old. That wasn't the problem. Need extra straps to tighten from below. And you still can't adjust the strap in this style. Don't waste money.

I just found out that slipping over easily but being lumpy is worse than an oversized ironing board cover. The padding is not attached to the top. The padding is not really thicker than others. Definitely not twice. There is only one strap to tighten the lid and the rest is left loose and lumpy. The color of the cover is also wrong. piss off! However, as I am in need and it took longer than expected to get here. I'm stuck with this.

The only thing I like is the beautiful fabric pattern. This ironing board cover has only one non-adjustable strap to keep it in place so the edges didn't stay in place from the start. When I then started ironing on it, I immediately noticed a very unpleasant odor emanating from the new pillow. So I took it off and threw it in the laundry. This product is quite good. The fabric seems to be a decent weight and there's a good amount of padding. Endurance is determined. It has a fairly snug fit, which is nice, but the elastic that goes underneath and is supposed to keep it taut is out of place on my ironing board. That's where the legs of the ironing board move to fold the board. I would improve this with non-elastic straps underneath that can be adjusted to fit front and back to avoid legs. The thick ironing board cover is well made. I always "stitch" cases on top of each other to get a soft, plump thickness, so there are about 6 cases under this case. As such the fit is a bit tight meaning it would fit perfectly on a previously bare board.
