LavaLock® Grade Adhesive Smoker Silicon Review

This "Grade Adhesive Smoker Silicon" is a total scam. I used it on my smoker and it didn't seal properly, which made my food taste terrible. Thanks to my knowledge gained in practice, I know that there are better products out there for the same purpose. It's disappointing to see such poor-quality products being sold in the Home and Kitchen category.

Bought to fix a few cracks in the lid of my old Nuwave oven. The purchase will cost at least $30. I applied a thick coat of varnish to the cracks inside and out. The adhesive has withstood the heat and stress well so far. When removing food, you put the lid on its side, on the strut, right where the cracks are, which requires a lot of strength and flexibility. So far, so good.

I used this food safe glue on a waffle iron that had a small crack. The crack was not in the wafer sheets themselves but in the surrounding casing. With the device reaching around 350 degrees Fahrenheit, an adhesive had to be found that was not only food safe but could withstand high temperatures, and this product met both requirements.
