When the blanket arrived, I took it out of my bag and my clothes were covered with blanket fluff and small threads. I had to wash the duvet before use as it shed a lot. After washing in cold water and drying on the lowest gentle setting, the comforter came out of the wash and was too small for a queen-size bed. It only reached the top of the bed and didn't even reach the sides. See attached picture of lint from my clothes, floor, washer and dryer. It is exaggerated.

This is the ridiculously worst blanket I've ever had in my life. Somehow it creates more fluff than anything I've seen, and not in a washing machine. I wake up covered in fluff under this blanket, even though this isn't the kind of fabric that should even do that. I washed it when I got it and it almost fell apart. I find it very light, but the sheet warms more than this duvet. Seriously the worst duvet I've ever used. Don't buy this unless you're looking for a blanket that won't keep you warm,

Cannot be washed or falls apart. I received this blanket a few days ago. Because of the great reviews I wanted to use it immediately. So I threw it in the front-load washing machine along with another comforter and gave it a regular wash with warm water and mild soap. I bought this comforter to replace a similar solid color denim comforter I bought from Bed Bath & Beyond for the hot Kansas summer. I chose these because it's too hot to put another blanket on top, so I wanted a cotton blanket that would complement my decor as well as my sleeping temperature. He does both wonderfully.
