Not what I expected.

You don't have a notepad to draw clues. The volume is VERY low compared to his other toys. It wasn't what I expected but my grandson loves it and that's all that matters.

Pros
  • Delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Not sure

Low volume/ no sound

I have replaced this item and the new one is still very quiet, it's a cute little educational toy but you can't hear it to follow instructions and learn.

Pros
  • Easy setup
Cons
  • Negative impression

Hit with my grandson!

My 2.5 year old grandson watches the Blues Clues show and loves it. He loves items with snaps so this was a big hit for him. The only thing he doesn't like is that the handle doesn't come out, but that could be a safety issue, so we're happy with that.

  • beautiful thing

Terrible Sound: Educational electronic toy

My grandson loves blues clues and loves having a notebook like Josh's. It would be a great educational toy if you could hear it. You can barely hear what he's saying and there's no way to turn up the volume. We even tried changing the batteries. Don't waste money on it. Too bad we don't

Can't hear e-learning toys

I was so excited to get this for my 17 month old son as he is obsessed with Blue's Clues. He likes to push buttons and bring them to me to play with, but you don't hear it. I even changed the batteries to see if that was the cause, but it didn't matter. I am extremely disappointed. I wanted to return it but my son still enjoys watching it glow.

Cons

Regular product at Learning Systems

This is a regular product, not interactive except for listening and key presses. It's not loud enough and at a higher volume. It would be better to buy a leapfrog tablet for my 2 year old daughter as she knows my phone well. I wanted something to keep her off my phone. She prefers her vtech rock and bop music player which is really awesome.

Pros
  • Free for educational use
Cons
  • Cable is shorter than other picks

I love blues clues!

Bought first from Walmart and second from Revain as I have twins and they just had to have their own. They love Blue's Clues and You so it was a great thing for them without the tiny little things. Your audio is pretty low and I thought it might be a defective issue. After contacting Leap Frog, they informed me that this was by design as children may end up sticking them behind their ears. I've never had an issue with other Leap Frog toys at such a low volume, so I'm not sure why this became an

Looks like a handy dandy notebook. that's all.

My daughter loves Blue and You's Clues and the signature toy of the series is Handy Dandy's notebook. I saw this one and the other one we bought. Since this is a LeapFrog branded toy I assumed it would be a good experience. This is a really badly designed toy. Good - This toy really resembles the props used in the TV show. - She seems pretty solid. - The images on the device are really well done and slightly reminiscent of the characters of the show. .The Bad- It doesn't do much. At a time when
