GREAT TOY AND GIFT - Toys for Babies and Toddlers

My 3 year old son got this as a gift and since then we have bought it several times for his friends. Both my son and 5 year old daughter love breaking gems and also just playing with gems separately. It's very cute and probably good for developing motor skills.

Pros
  • EASY STORAGE: Store your treasures in the included drawstring bag!
Cons
  • Difficult to say

The little one loves it!

We are a family of stone hunters. My toddler loves this. She is 2 years old and can crack them herself although she would rather play with someone. I showed this toy to my other stone hunter friends and they bought it too. Good quality and fun toy.

Pros
  • SORTING, MATCHING AND COUNTING SKILLS: Use the exercises to develop sorting, matching and counting skills with gems in 8 colors and 4 shapes!
Cons
  • Only available in black

Fun for 1-8 year olds, best for early learning and outdoor activities

My kids (1, 3, 5 and 8) played with it for a long time when we opened the package. It would be nice if the geodes were a little harder to open (kids didn't have to "hack" them with tools to open them), but they were still fun. We were able to match and compare shapes and colors which added the educational element moms are looking for. Unfortunately, after that first experience, nobody asked to play with them anymore, but I think they will be happy if I take them again.

Pros
  • AWESOME MOTOR: Break play geodes with a hammer and chisel to discover colorful surprise jewels over and over again!
Cons
  • Long wait

Multifunctional, suitable for small children and outdoor toys

I LOVE geology so when I saw it I had to buy it for my 1 year old next year (proud homeschooling mom) to play and learn shapes/colors while her older sister did some learns about stones and minerals. To my delight, as soon as they arrived, the older sister started teaching them right away and made up her own games in her sleep. The rocks are hollow but strong, and the geode is strong enough to withstand a few knocks on the ground before opening. A chisel and hammer are optional but add to the…

Pros
  • NO-MESS: plastic geodes with play hammer and chisel get the little ones into geology without the hassle of tidying up!
Cons
  • For old
