🧤 Thinsulate Touchscreen Leather Driving Gloves Review

I keep these in the car. I use them on cold mornings and the Tinsulate lining really seems to work. Perhaps I shouldn't be surprised, considering this material was designed to do just that. Cold morning here between 20*F and 40*F. I rarely wear them outside, only when driving. With these gloves I can operate touchscreen devices. It's not 100% accurate, but it can be handled. The leather is very soft, smooth and elastic. They fit well, but I think once they're on, they fit like a glove (yes, pun!). Even though they're not on yet, I can comfortably clench my fist while wearing them. For me this is a good sign that the fit will be almost perfect once you put it on. These gloves were on sale for $15 when I bought them and I'm just not sure if they're even worth that amount . The stitching is only slightly "mismatched" (i.e. not perfectly aligned with the stitching) in several places. The coating or paint or whatever they used definitely left its mark on the inside of the lovely gift box-like packaging the gloves came in. Markers, but when rubbed, they merged with the paint, so I realized that the manufacturer just didn't do a very good job with the final…

I really like the fit and leather of the gloves and would rate them much higher if the clasp didn't break the first time. It didn't fit well, and when I tried to loosen it to shorten the strap, the bottom section came loose with little to no effort when I tugged. I added a size up as someone else recommended and ordered large instead of medium which was a good choice. I can try to fix it myself instead of dealing with returns or just cutting the straps.

These gloves are as advertised. They look beautiful, are comfortable, have warm hands and work on touchscreens. They seem to be well made (so far). Of course, these are not gloves for working outdoors in severe frost. But it is a very good glove for use in winter conditions for walking or driving etc. I particularly like the length of the glove, which is up to the wrist - longer than most driving gloves.
