Such a beautiful journal. I love the Tree of Life on the front and the wrap around strap. The leather is soft yet sturdy. The pages are unlined and are a nice thick quality paper. I ordered this for my daughter. She has always been an avid writer so I truly hope she will love this book. The craftmanship is excellent. 5 Stars! Hope you find this review and pictures helpful. This was a Christmas gift for my dad – who had recently discovered new mysteries to his family history. This was to serve as a "family tree” journal. I like the rustic look of the product; the outside had a nice texture and the detail on the side was my favorite! I did not care too much for the inside of the journal – the "paper” feels rough and the binding does not allow for the best ease with writing and reading, I imagine. I feel like the book opens up into certain "chunks” of rough paper…

I absolutely love this journal. I bought it for my daughter's anniversary, and my 14 year old grandson loves the journal so much that he has asked me to buy him one too. I will be buying more . I love this journal! Bought this as a gift for my adult son. It’s beautiful, has plenty of pages, and very sturdy. Can be used as a journal or a place to write lyrics (my son is a musician) or any number of other uses. As a loving and hands-on dad to a houseful of very young children, it can be used as a place to write down hopes and dreams to leave for his children. I think I need to get one for myself, too. You won’t be disappointed!

Love the look of this journal. Super awkward to write in though because of the way it is made. There is no good way to get it to lay flat enough to write in.

I purchased this beautiful journal for someone that is a total stranger that gifted my mom that has Dementia with a set of hearing aids out of the kindness of her heart. I bought this as a gift for parents 50th wedding anniversary celebration and had all the guests(children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren) write their well wishes, sign it, etc. It worked perfectly and they love having a special keepsake from all their special people. Would be great as a wedding gift for the same purpose. Every one loved it! Very nice quality of the both the leather and the paper.

This journal is amazing. This was the second one I bought. IT IS REAL LEATHER. The craftsmanship is beautiful. Very sturdy but not stiff. Great value for your money.
