Not suitable for small patches You need to cover the entire seat or it will come off due to the heat in the car and the friction of getting in and out. Edited on 10/13/21. My 20 year old Italian leather sofa has been through 2 kids and a couple of cats, it started to rub and wear out from the rubbing of animals and cat claws, this patch worked a magic . I bought a 6 x 17 inch roll and made 3 bottom pieces of my sofa. The sofas are fine as are the 2 seats so I didn't use them. It fits perfectly and is soft.
