First of all item arrived very fast. As soon as inspecting packaging I opened it up and check out the actual product I found it to be a really carfully constructed product! It is very nice and is soft to the touch and not being real genuine leather it has a very very similar look and feel. I've had this case for about 7 months as of today and I'm still in love with it. It's so different compared to the cases you usually see. The case snapped onto my Mac very easily and hasn't moved since I put it on about two months ago. The leather has a nice rich pebble texture to it, and the magenta color is really a beautiful plum/magenta that you're seeing all over the place this fall. I'm really pleased with this product. It fits my MacBook Pro A1502 perfectly. I'm wondering if other reviewers who claim that it does not fit didn't check their model number to make sure it was compatible? All in all for the price around 30 bucks it is a good product. It had a real nice synthetic leather feel. The look is sleek and the case fits real great with my MacBook Pro Retina. The only negative I have on it is that it was a little dirty and dusty when I opened it. I had to clean it before I put it on my computer. I'm real pleased with the product. Definitely recommend this case if you want the leather look but don't want to pay 100 dollars for a real leather case.

I just purchased the light blue one for my new July 2014 Macbook Pro retina 13. Like it so much am back for this magenta one. It adds no bulk to the device and has all ports open including the ones on the side-front edges underneath. The texture allows a better grip.
