Shortly after opening the box I noticed that the quality of the product was excellent. I bought this product for my 4 year old son. He is about 110 cm tall. In the product description it says that it is suitable for children with a height of 110-135 cm, it was actually too small for my son. I went back and bought a Leatt 5.5 Pro Chest Protector (Junior). Your fit may vary.

It has excellent front and back protection. The shoulder straps are adjustable depending on the height of the child. It offers good but NOT excellent lateral upper body protection. My kid says he doesn't even know he's wearing it. I would give 5 stars. But I can't get it to work with his Atlas Tyke neck brace. Not sure if this will work with a Leatt baby corset.

Most people who seem to give this protector negative reviews don't understand how a chest protector is supposed to fit. The protector should sit at or just above the navel and not up to the waist. I have a slightly taller 6 year old boy and it fits him perfectly. The protector appears to be well built and in fact it belongs to a household name in the MX defense game. It's a bit pricey for Childs' protector, but if it saves him in a crash, it's worth it.
