The pictured looks good, doesn't it? The one that was delivered has a larger base than the globe and looks crappy. We'll send it back.

As you can see from the picture what you see is not what you get. A socket twice the size of a lightbulb looked ridiculous and cheap. Couldn't give it to my son, had to go back and buy another.

Bought for my son for Christmas. He thought it was very cool. When I opened it it was much smaller than I expected. We had to return it for another one as the surface was loose. However, he liked it.

As others have noted, the sphere is small and looks cheap compared to the base. At the same time it works perfectly. It just looks cheap. Also, the box was a little wrinkled when it was delivered. I think you get what you pay for.

Image is misleading. Yes, I knew the globe was only four inches, but I didn't expect the base to be five inches! The base is also four inches tall so it looks silly and gives the impression of a dainty orb sitting on a bulky stand.

Much smaller than expected! The plastic base of the globe is made from fairly cheap plastic and feels very flimsy. The orb works fine via touch, but the audio option doesn't work even when there's music nearby. Probably would have bought another.

This product has a half sized base and a small plasma ball. It's not like regular plasma balls where you can get electrostatic electricity in one place. I was very disappointed with this product. Not only that, but when I try to plug in this product, it consumes power from my power supply of other connected devices and causes a power outage. Doesn't seem safe, actually wouldn't recommend it to anyone.
