5 stars - great lamps - very economical

Great product. That's exactly what I wanted. The recessed lights in my house were warm white 60 watt incandescent bulbs. They were fine, but gave off quite a bit of heat and were very expensive to use. These bulbs are just as bright, generate almost no heat, and are much cheaper to use. They turn on instantly and have worked flawlessly for the past few months since we received them. For those who are afraid of spending money to replace their old lightbulbs, think twice, especially if you live…

LEDs are finally good for incandescent lamps

LEDs have been waiting for a long time. It seems they are here. Thanks to Congress for enacting a new law denouncing incandescent light bulbs and promoting this new technology. I would also like to thank Shuji Nakamura, one of the pioneers in white LED development. We tried a few LED bulbs a few years ago, but most of our lighting is in ceiling boxes. Great Bulbs - Bulbs

I have 6 recessed dimmer lights in my kitchen. Each lightbulb was 65 watts, so it used quite a bit of power to turn on. By lowering the brightness to medium or low I was hoping it would save some money as there was certainly plenty of light.
