I put one in the corner of a counter and it's questionable because I'm standing next to it and it won't turn on. One at the bottom of the stairs to the basement and it works fine. I have bought a few different brands of these lamps. However, they are easily my favorite! The lights have a total of 46 individual lights. However, you have options. If you don't need the amount of light that all 46 put out you can easily choose the 2 lower settings which will give you a longer time between charges.
