I bought these for street lamps on our patio. The remote control is a nice addition as I don't have to take the candles out to turn them on or off. The candles have a wax outer shell so they look and feel like real candles. If I had one complaint it would be the very short range of the remote control.

I hung it on the wall above the bed. They provide a very pleasant ambient light effect. I still use the same AAA batteries. They would have gotten five stars if they weren't on when I turn the TV off. They don't light up when the TV is on. This requires a small remote control and off.

Very nice candles. I love the remote control. I only had a few days but I used the candles for several hours and still worked as expected. Amber candles definitely give off a deep golden light. I'm considering ordering more of these for our cabin, but I think next time I'll go for pale yellow. I like that they are real wax so they don't look fake at all. I put one in a tall glass vase and the remote still works through the glass.

These candles are great. The first set was noticeably "whiter" in its luster, which is not to our liking. I mentioned this to the company and they said there are two shades based on people's color preferences. The company replaced the product without question. My baby is afraid of the dark. I had to light the corridor without sockets. They are real wax. They aren't plastic. They got really hot in my metal mailbox and I was able to shape them if needed. A few days later I received a replacement candle with a controller. I contacted the company again and asked how I could return the original spark plugs and they said to keep them. Great candles with a nice soft light. Some have complained that they aren't bright enough, but the LED is deep in the candle which creates a nice effect and the bulb doesn't shine in your eyes. If you are looking for emergency lighting during a power outage, this is not for you. However, if you are looking for some romantic lighting, this is for you.
