Perfect for fish and aquatic animals

This product arrived on time. It was exactly as advertised. It fits my 40 liter aquarium perfectly. It was easy to install. That works great.

Pros
  • High marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Definitely a bad product

adapted to my fish and personal needs.

Had to build my own PVC water intake to connect to an external filtration system to get it working the way I wanted. Instead of just dragging rubble under the gravel.

Pros
  • Great for a small house
Cons
  • Good but not great

Dimensions do NOT correspond to those declared. I have a 55 gallon 12" x 48" tank. This kit contains 3 plates, each 14 x 11.375 inches. Good - 14 x 3 equals 42". Yes, I understand that the panels don't have to go exactly to the edge of the tank. BUT the fact that 6" is too short means I don't want the thick vertical pipes" can "hide" the corners... Too bad the manufacturer doesn't make the decals better for my tank size, I'll return them and get another brand closer to my size.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • I don't remember

Soil filter best for aquarium pumps and filters

Restoring our 56 gallon (18x36) aquarium after about 6 months of not using. I'm tired of draining and cleaning the tank every 3-4 months. For example, there are fish, but you don't need to clean the aquarium that often. Some of what I've read suggested an underground filter and pump, so we hooked that up to a Marineland PH0550 power head and everything seems to be working fine. It was possible to cover almost the entire bottom of the tank, creatively positioning the part and knocking out the…

Pros
  • Heavy duty construction
Cons
  • Non automatic
