I have a gray model 3X, my height is 6-6ft 1in at 300#, 44in waist and some tummy, and after the first wash it's comfortable as expected. This is a good, wrinkle-free hiking shirt with well-seamed seams, corduroy collar and sleeves, and an attached button placket. One piece and better sewn. After the first wash I lost enough in the sleeves to make it fit as expected but out of the box it was a bit big so it did shrink a bit. I bought one of these shale plaid style shirts a few months ago and was pleased with the overall quality so I recently bought one Decided to get another one in cedar wood plaid style. From the label I noticed that the cedar plaid shirt is made in India and the shale plaid shirt is made in China. After a wash/dry cycle, following the label directions, I found that the cedar tartan pilled a lot more than the plaid shirt after several washes. I ordered size XL first which I order in every flannel and almost every outfit I own. I tried it on and it was huge, the shirt was down to my knees, it looked like I was wearing a dress. So I sent it back for the large and it fit much better, still quite large so I washed it and it was perfect. I washed it again and it got tight again and now it's impossible to wear. The sleeves reach down to my forearms and the hem now reaches down to my waist. It's always shrinking flannel. Very disappointed…

I really wanted to like this shirt. But the middle one was too big, so I took the small one too. The little ones fit my chest and shoulders, but wow, they're about 3 or 4 inches longer than they should be and are bulging at the bottom. To make matters worse, they only accept top-notch returns from mid-caps, not small ones. What a nonsense? I've attached a normal flannel shirt for comparison (it's from Express, also one size smaller)

Although it's a beautiful shirt, a gift for my son-in-law, the shirt shrunk so much after one wash that he couldn't even put it on. To really understand this, you have to know my daughter. She is obsessed with instructions and rules. Wash cold, tumble dry low? When the sign said so, she followed it to the letter. It's frustrating to buy a quality product only to have it expire so quickly. I wouldn't buy any of these unless you line dry your clothes. Welcome to the 1960s
