Great care product!

These brushes work great! I use them on my horses legs when they are dirty. Dirt is washed away immediately. I bought a barn for all my friends for Christmas!

Pros
  • Top marks for hold and durability from testers
Cons
  • Functionality

Perfect Size!: Horses

Small stiff brush perfectly sized for horses hooves. Stable natural wood handle. Easy to use around the hoof and along the sole. The built in scraper on top of the brush was a bonus that I didn't realize when I bought it. You can't go wrong with this.

Pros
  • Trial for a year
Cons
  • So far so good

Disappointed Best in Bath & Grooming

I think it was mostly good reviews. Unfortunately, a piece of the bristle fell out the first time I used it! Disappointing. However, only one piece came out that I use often because my horse's territory is sometimes very dirty. Pooh. In any case, perhaps this brush will justify itself.

Pros
  • Absolute Legend
Cons
  • Not Safe

Nailheads are shown. Ouch!

The brush bristles are excellent. Tough enough to really get the job done. And I like the short, solid handle that's easy to manipulate and holds well. However, I'm deducting a star because very sharp nail heads protrude from the back of the brush and effectively split the wood. I'll probably try to seal them with a few layers of duct tape. They are sharp enough to make a nasty cut if someone (human or horse) or something (gloves or clothing) rubs them.

Pros
  • Handy item
Cons
  • Protection

Ideal for removing dirt from my hiking boots before getting in the car

I recently heard a camper tell me how he kept a hoof brush in the trunk of his car to brush dirt off his legs remove. Hiking shoes after a hike. I didn't know what a hoof brush looked like but thought it would be a good idea so I looked at Revane. I liked the sturdy look of this brush and bought it for that, as well as the fact that it's made out of wood instead of the cheaper plastic. The brush did not disappoint me, a pity I did not buy it sooner. My husband liked it so much he asked me toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Perfect for outdoor activities
Cons
  • Exterior

This is the perfect hoof brush. The brush is too small to be of much use and bends easily and the hoof teeth tend to curve. So I prefer to use an old-fashioned hook with a separate brush. This is the best I've found. I use a wide wooden blade to scrape away dirt that doesn't brush off and the brush itself gets into the hoof very well. It is of excellent quality and holds up well even with heavy use. I also really like trimming my hooves. The only thing I would like to change is: 1) I want thisโ€ฆ
