LEGO Creator Dragon Building Buildable Review

The dragon is amazing. I've been playing with it for a week and counting. Wings, head, tail, claws on wings, legs, jaws, fiery part, neck and even horns move. Sabertooth is pretty cool, although his back legs don't support him very well. The scorpion is good, all 6 legs move, although the movable claws are a bit fragile, and the scorpion's tail moves in many directions.

Great activity to communicate with your child. My 4.5 year old loves Lego thanks to the Creator sets and although he's not quite old yet he still enjoys it and the adult he's doing it with. He made each of the three animals for 1.5 months, some of them several times alternating with the Dinosaur Creator Set. Each animal is beautiful to look at and fun to play with as most of the limbs are posable. Very well thought out and thankfully not too expensive. I just wish Lego had more of these sets.

I received two copies of this set. It has a good selection of special parts useful for building animals or articulated vehicles such as excavators. Some parts are useful for creating custom planes, spaceships, and planes. My 3 year old was able to assemble most of the models with the instructions, down to the smallest details. I believe the suggested age range is suitable for DIY. The dragon's head and legs are a bit more complicated, but the body and tail were easy enough for him to assemble…
